Peter Stewart is nothing short of an exemplary alumnus.  He ended his AIESEC career with a bang as Organizing Committee President of the International Congress hosted in Atlanta, GA in 1997 and went out in search of a way to change the world. What else could you do after the high of hosting the largest conference in the AIESEC world?

Peter might just have done that in his current role at http://www.pgi.com/ where he currently serves as Senior Vice President of Collaboration Technology Services in Atlanta, GA.  There, Peter is responsible for developing a state of the art virtual conference room known as iMeet.  Follow iMeet on Twitter for free trial information (http://twitter.com/#!/iMeetTweet). iMeet was introduced to the AIESEC students of today at SNC 2011.  If you know Peter, then you know he loves to bring people together to share great ideas and learning; that he is the mind behind iMeet is not surprising at all.

Interview with Peter Stewart about the partnership between PGi and AIESEC U.S

Peter not only loves to bring great ideas together, he loves giving to AIESEC United States.  When asked what his proudest moment in AIESEC was, he shares “raising his first traineeship.”   Peter, who was born in Vienna, says the “beauty of AIESEC is that you have no idea what you are doing but you learn!”

He currently holds a seat on the Board of Directors of AIESEC U.S. and is responsible for bringing PGi on as a member of the National Sponsorship Group for AIESEC U.S.   Additionally, he served several years on the Georgia Tech Board of Advisors, where he previously led as LCP, and now personally gives to AIESEC Life as a member of the Leadership Circle.  He and his wife Jessica (a GT alumna) remain grateful to AIESEC  for its life changing experiences and believe in giving back to the organization that impacted their lives so much.
