Joe Loughrey (Chair)

Mr. Loughrey has served as Chair of the AIESEC Life Board since September 2008. After more than 35 years with Cummins he retired on April 1, 2009. He was elected President and Chief Operating Officer of Cummins in 2005 after serving as Executive Vice President, President-Engine Business from 1999, and various other preceding executive positions with the company. Mr. Loughrey received a B.S. in Economics and African Studies from the University of Notre Dame in 1971. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Hillenbrand Inc., AB SKF, Sauer-Danfoss, Inc., the Lumina Foundation for Education, The Great Pond Foundation and the Columbus Community Education Coalition. He is Chairman of the Boards of Conexus-Indiana and also of the Energy Systems Network. He is a member and past Chairman (2005-2007) of the Board of Trustees of the Manufacturing Institute in Washington DC. He is Vice-Chairman/ Chairman-elect of the Advisory Council of the College of Arts and Letters at the University of Notre Dame and a member of the Kellogg Institute for International Studies Advisory Board. He has been on numerous other public company and non-profit organization boards over the years.
Frank Foti (Vice Chair)

AIESEC US Board of Directors 2009-present Frank Foti is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Vigor Industrial. Through Vigor, Mr. Foti owns Vigor Marine, Cascade General, the Portland Shipyard, and several other subsidiaries – some of the largest ship repair companies and assets on the U.S. West Coast. In 2006, he cofounded U.S. Barge, a barge fabrication company. Throughout his executive career, Mr. Foti has been widely recognized for his entrepreneurial vision and strong business acumen. He has a history of taking on struggling companies in challenging industries and building success. Mr. Foti holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a double concentration in Economics and Marketing from Miami University.
Sarah E. Endline

Sarah founded and runs sweetriot, a socially responsible company that makes tasty chocolates. Prior to founding sweetriot, Sarah worked at Yahoo! on launching products, developing brand positioning, building customer communication plans, and creating loyalty strategies. She also served on Yahoo!'s corporate charitable giving board, led in MBA recruiting at Harvard, and created a corporate wide initiative to support women's career advancement at the firm. Sarah has also worked at The World Bank, Microsoft, and NFTE. Sarah has an MBA from Harvard Business School and BBA from The University of Michigan.
Lynda Baker Funke

Lynda is currently the Senior Administrative Officer for Cerberus European Capital Advisors LLP, the FSA-regulated London advisory office of Cerberus Capital Management. From 1994 to 2006, she served in multiple European administrative management roles with Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt, Germany and London, UK. Prior to that, Lynda worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company in Atlanta and Munich, serving industrial and financial services clients. Lynda graduated with Distinction from Harvard Business School in Boston and received a B.S. of Foreign Service in International Economics and a Certificate in International Business Diplomacy at Georgetown University. She currently serves as a Governor of the German School London and actively supports her alma maters and charitable causes. Lynda and her husband, Johannes, reside with their four children in London. In AIESEC, Lynda served as the LCP at Georgetown University and Student Director on the AIESEC-United States National Committee before serving as National Committee President in 1985-86, when AIESEC-United States raised over 400 traineeships.
Virginia L. P’an

Virginia P'an is a global business leader, entrepreneur, financier and pioneer in opening of the China market to western businesses. Her accomplishments include securing the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games contract for SMG, the world leader in convention centers management and introducing bubble and chewing gum to the China market. Prior to founding her own companies, Virginia managed 15 Asian central bank portfolios of $7 billion at the Federal Reserve Bank and at American Express Bank was the architect of the national Taiwan debit card system for the banking industry. As Senior Advisor to the Hong Kong Securities and Exchange Commission, she led negotiations that created the current stock exchange which is 7th largest bourse in the world today. Virginia's current business venture is creating 21st century products from natural plant starch which biodegrades in 45 days and is good for our environment. Passionate about developing the next generation of global leaders, Virginia also serves on the Babson Graduate Business School Advisory Board and other non-profit boards. Virginia is the recipient of numerous global awards in entrepreneurship and business.

Jeff Popiel is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Geotech Environmental Equipment Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of environmental groundwater sampling, monitoring and remediation equipment. Prior to his work with Geotech, Jeff was a Director for AIESEC International 95-96, worked for AIESEC United States from 93-95, and was involved at the local committee at the University of Colorado between 1990 and 1993.
Joel Sanders

Joel Sanders is Co-Founder & CEO of B2B.net, an online social networking site for small business owners. Due to launch in 2010, B2B.net will help small business owners find partners, peer advisors, funding, and talent for their small businesses. Prior to founding B2B.net, Joel was General Manager of Xiosoft, which makes do-it-yourself web applications for small businesses. He also worked for Seagram’s and Allied Domecq’s Spirits and Wines Groups in export sales to the Caribbean and Latin America. With AIESEC, Joel initiated the U.S. effort to open AIESEC in mainland China, and went on a traineeship with Xerox in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
