How do I make sense of the world right now? How do I predict what the future holds, and how do I prepare for it?
For us at AIESEC, this meant volunteering or taking up a professional work experience opportunity abroad for the past years. Nevertheless, like many aspects of our 'normal', 2020 has challenged how preparing for the future can look like, and even how we envision the future itself.
We know it, you know it - these are some of the most common questions constantly present in young people's minds as they are transitioning to the global job market while navigating a global pandemic.
Under the concept and hashtag #FutureProof, we aim to bring to the table the expertise of thought leaders to inspire and guide young people around the world for a smooth preparation for the future, however, this might look like.
On the 5th of December, on International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development, starting at 12:00 (noon) GMT+0, we are joined by some of our notable global partners discussing topics more relevant today than ever: the future of work, the skills of the future and how to make a difference to the world around us while navigating uncertainty.
