On March 13, AIESEC hosted a small Youth to Business to engage partners, prospects and AIESEC champions together with AIESEC leaders today to look at the key talent trends of the future.
David Crawford, Global Head of Talent Acquisition, and AIESEC alumnus from Michigan, spoke about the evolving talent trends that he saw. John Sviokla, the Head of Global Thought Leadership at PwC spoke about his research on top performers and what leads them to produce. Cassie Ruggiero from AIESEC International then shared on Gen Y's views today on leadership and the ideal workplace.
These speeches culminated in a smaller dialogue between both business leaders and Gen Y on the topics discussed.
Approximately 25-30 people attended the event, of which 8 were alumni. Several alumni were instrumental in making the event a success including David Crawford, James Larmer, Predrag Cvetkovski and Ruthie Garelik in particular.
Several new leads were generated, some partners had new people exposed to AIESEC and an output was generated that will be shared with all participants.
Beginning next week there will be discussions as to how this model can evolve to garner more credibility for AIESEC in the upcoming year.
