PlanT was founded by Gabriela Alvarez and Juan Carlos Ardila – AIESECers who are passionate about entrepreneurship, economic development, and rural prosperity. It is a peer-to-peer social enterprise designed to promote reforestation, carbon capture, and biodiversity in Latin America. Celebrate Earth Day 2022 by contributing to the growth of the Shosholoza AIESEC Life Tropical Forest, initially funded by our Puerto Rico (2020) and Costa Rica (2022) Study Tours participants, and planted in Hacienda la Tentacion, Colombia by PlanT. We have 243 trees planted so far in our AIESEC Life forest and would love to see it grow with your help!

We are excited to host our first domestic Study Tour in Chicago, June 24-26. Join us for a weekend of alumni connection and fun. We'll explore some wonderful Chicago sights together, spearheaded by our knowledgable Chicago-based alumni. We'll enjoy a happy hour on Chicago's Riverwalk, be taken on an architectural walking tour and a pub crawl, dine on the city's famous deep-dish pizza, and more. The AIESEC Life Austin Hub invites all Texas alumni and LC members to reconnect and catch up at a BBQ on May 14th from 2:00-6:00pm. Bring a side dish or your favorite beverage and your best AIESEC story. Come and go as you please during the event and feel free to bring family members. Hosted by alum Rebecca Martin at her Austin home.
