January 2023 Newsletter Issue 1

Happy New Year!

I hope this first newsletter of 2023 finds you well and ready to tackle the upcoming year! As I think about goals for myself and AIESEC Life, I reflect back on the past few months and think of all the new connections I made with alumni. Hearing your stories, reliving college memories and meeting new people of all AIESEC generations has been extremely fulfilling and I want more!

My goal for 2023 is to grow our alumni base and for those that are currently in our system, encourage them to become paid members so they too, can benefit from all that AIESEC Life has to offer. The in-person events need to increase, more alumni stories need to be shared and our opportunities page needs to thrive! After all, who wouldn't want to hire a fellow AIESECer? If you have friends that are AIESECers, tell them about AIESEC Life. We need everyone's help to GROW!

I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know some of you and look forward to meeting more of you. Please reach out to me with your ideas, input or just to chat!

Looking forward to a great year,
Jennifer Farley, Executive Director of AIESEC Life

Seeking Sponsors for our
Annual
Study Tour 2023 in Maui

This year's AIESEC Life travel pod will be heading to Maui next month! While a part of the US, Hawaii has a rich history and cultural profile, with an aloha spirit deeply rooted in its incredible nature and community values. Our group will immerse in the culture of Ohana family, balanced living in harmony with its lush nature, adventures from below the water to a 10k ft volcano summit, and giving back to a nonprofit and farm helping mothers and their children from domestic violence situations get back on their feet. And of course, connecting with each other in pau hana style with plenty of laughs, travel stories, and connection, Hawaiian style!

We're seeking a generous donor or two to help our experience by sponsoring a unique experience. Options include a lobster breakdown cooking demo session, welcome reception drinks & dinner, local brewery dinner & drinks, whale watching raft adventure.

Details on the sponsorship opportunities can be found here.

This trip will be led by alumni Cynthia Wong who joined the 2022 Costa Rica study tour, and has carried the AIESEC spirit forward in her life, passion projects, and entrepreneurial endeavors including leading 20 group trips across 10 countries.

Please email Jennifer if you are interested in becoming a sponsor. Mahalo!
