AIESEC Life NYC Holiday Potluck: A Night of Joy, Community, and Traditions

We are thrilled to share the joy and warmth that filled the air during our recent AIESEC Life NYC Holiday Potluck Dinner in Brooklyn. The event, graciously hosted by the wonderful Allen and Ann Kone, brought together a diverse group of alumni, current LC members, and the AIESEC US MC, creating an unforgettable evening of connection and celebration.

For many years, this holiday potluck has been a cherished tradition, and we extend our deepest gratitude to the Kones for their unwavering hospitality throughout the years.

The potluck spread was a testament to the rich diversity of our AIESEC community. Attendees shared a delightful array of dishes, including the Kones’ signature cured salmon, Taiwanese beef noodles, Serbian Ajvar dip, Chinese roasted pork, homemade tamales, Ukrainian Spanakopita, Middle Eastern Lentil dip, homemade Indian chips and a variety of sweets, each a delicious representation of the unique tastes and cultures within our network.

AIESEC Life was honored to have the participation of a children's non-profit organization during the event.  NYC Kids Project is an educational arts program advocating empathy, acceptance, and inclusion.  The group graced us with an interactive puppet show, adding a heartwarming touch to the festivities. NYC Project's focus is on character development and socio-emotional learning.  They are encouraged to examine attitudes surrounding disabilities and differences while fostering empathy and an awareness of what truly connects us all.  For more information, please visit https://www.nyckidsproject.org.  Their presence truly exemplified the spirit of giving back and community engagement that lies at the core of AIESEC's values.
