Diversity in Travel

As AIESECers we love to travel and many of us have had the privilege of doing so at an early age. For some, who have immigrated during childhood, it may even be a way of life. But it’s not as easy for everyone. Peter Kovacs, an alumni from Hungary, recently met Evita Robinson (Evie) who recognized a void in her community, young millennials of color, and decided to do something to change that. She is the founder of Nomadness Travel Tribe which helps to serve this group of young people and expose them to the broader world. We are pleased to share the story here.

Most people are aware of #GivingTuesday, supporting non-profits, this year it is Tuesday, November 28th. Well, AIESEC Life supporters have offered $10K in matching funds for any dollars we can raise for our organization. If we could get 1000 alums to give $10 we could get there. Be a part of the 1000!

Do you know a potential IGV Partner?

AIESEC US is looking for partners for their Incoming Global Volunteer program; organizations such as summer camps, NGOs or schools that may be interested in bringing in international volunteers to work for 6-8 weeks on social impact projects related to the fulfillment of one of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.
