AIESEC and its programs have evolved over the years to meet the changing needs of the students and business partners they work with, and as most people know they no longer have a 1 for 1 exchange system. AIESEC US has evolved too. These changes allowed the 2016-2017 team to reach new heights, and they provided 1007 exchange experiences across the different programs they run. AIESEC Alumni International Congress in Cartegena, Colombia was a wonderful reminder of how global AIESEC is, and of the value of a growing and active alumni community. Our world still needs our energy and global vision and it can't end when we graduate.
Congratulations to Augie Fabela, Stanford '87, and Ellen Lewis, San Jose '87, who were both inducted to the AIESEC Alumni Hall of Fame for 2017. Both alums have contributed in their professional lives to endeavors that impact our world through the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
