From Mexico City to Alumni Meetups — AIESEC Life Updates

As the clocks have sprung forward and we begin to see signs of spring, AIESEC Life is also stepping forward into a season of renewed connection.

Recently, alumni have gathered in cities across the country, and our February Mexico City Study Tour brought alumni together for an unforgettable experience exploring the city, reconnecting with fellow AIESECers, and strengthening our global community.

In this newsletter, we’re also celebrating some of our AIESEC US folks who are continuing their AIESEC journey through new roles.

And of course, there’s more ahead - from alumni gatherings to upcoming events and opportunities to reconnect with the AIESEC community.

Read on for highlights from Mexico City, a celebration of new AIESEC leaders, and a look at the gatherings and events coming up across the AIESEC Life community.

Together in purpose and community,

Renée Kessinger
Executive Director

MEXICO CITY STUDY TOUR

The AIESEC Life Mexico City Study Tour 2026 marked our 7th study tour, continuing a growing tradition of alumni traveling together while deepening their connection to the AIESEC community.

Over four days in Mexico City, we explored some of the region’s most iconic sites - from the canals of Xochimilco to the pyramids of Teotihuacán and spent time connecting with local alumni and AIESEC students.

A special shoutout goes to Kathy and Paul Seaman, who have joined every AIESEC Life Study Tour to date. Their continued participation captures the spirit of these trips - curiosity, friendship, and a lifelong connection to AIESEC.

Beyond the incredible destinations, the experience was a powerful reminder that the AIESEC journey doesn’t end after university - it simply evolves.

Celebrating the Next Generation of AIESEC Leadership!

The AIESEC community continues to develop leaders making an impact around the world.

Congratulations to Somto Nwadike, MCP Elect of AIESEC United States. Somto will help lead the next chapter of AIESEC in the US as the organization continues to rebuild and grow its impact. We look forward to seeing her leadership in the year ahead.

We’re also proud to share that Yokelvy Vargas has been elected MCP of AIESEC in the Dominican Republic - an exciting step as he continues his leadership journey within the global AIESEC network.

Please join us in congratulating both of them on these well-deserved achievements.
