 I had the privilege of seeing that inspiring roll call in person last weekend at the first AIESEC US in-person conference since fall 2019. Even more inspiring than the dance, was the teamwork, community and encouragement that I felt while watching these young adults represent their LCs.
The AIESEC acronyms may be different now, but the overall mission of developing humankind’s potential has not wavered. I was honored to be a part of a successful first meeting!

ALUMNI Giving Back
Sessions on personal branding, an alumni Q & A and a practical sales workshop were led by Maital Kaminer (UGA), Adriana Rubio of AIESEC in Columbia and Mary Ryan (Georgetown).

DC ALUMNITE: A SUCCESS!

Thank you to everyone who came to our DC Alumnite! We had a great turnout with more than 60 AIESECers! The event which preceded the AIESEC US Fall Conference was attended by current students, alumni in the DC area, and the MC. Attendees caught up with old friends, made new contacts, and enjoyed a pizza and salad buffet dinner sponsored by Mary Ryan, Senior Director, Global Sales Excellence for Otis Elevator. Thanks to everyone who attended, and welcome to our new AIESEC Life Members. Keep an eye out for future Hub activities and alumni events in DC, and other locations across the U.S.!

Aloha to our AIESEC Life Ohana (Hawaiian for “family")!
Join us February 17-21, 2023 as AIESEC Life hosts its third tropical adventure! We had an amazing experience in Puerto Rico (2020) and Costa Rica (2022) and are thrilled to continue the tradition of traveling through breathtaking scenery with a fun, like-minded group of AIESECers!
Our 2023 destination is Maui, the second largest island in the Hawaiian archipelago, also known as "The Valley Isle." It's beloved for world-famous beaches, farm-to-table cuisine, incredible sea life and snorkeling, magnificent views of the Haleakala volcano, diverse Hawaiian folklore and so much more.
Led by AIESEC Life member and part-time Maui resident Cynthia Wong, this is sure to be a trip to remember.
Highlights of our trip include:
- 5 days/4 nights at either Royal Lahaina Resort (ocean views) or Kaanapali Ocean Inn (budget standard rooms), both on the same beachfront property with shared pool, restaurants, and amenities
- Whale watching from our hotel grounds (we are there during peak whale migration season)
- Swimming and snorkeling from our hotel’s beachfront on one of Maui's best stretches of sand and turquoise waters, with nearby reefs and turtles
- Hiking & sunset from Haleakala volcano
- Boat excursion with drinks
- Traditional Hawaiian-style BBQ & cultural activities
