Giving Thanks
What are you thankful for this year? We are always asked this question this time of year and lucky for me, I have new people in my life that I am grateful for! Some of you don't realize how many team members it takes to run AIESEC Life. I can tell you this; sustaining an alumni organization that supports current students and alumni programming in the US is not an easy task. I am thankful for the AIESEC Life Team: Nancy Gamble, Kari Maher, Tina Hurley, Lea Duperray, Kathy Seaman, Renee Osaigbovo, Sophie Bousset, Michael Jalkio and Georgina Saldana. This team ROCKS. Thank you for everything you do to build and strengthen our alumni community. Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

RSVP for a Friendsgiving Near You
There is still time to find an AIESEC Life Friendsgiving near you!
We currently have upcoming gatherings in Atlanta, New York, Chicago and the Bay Area.
Check out our event page and find a Friendsgiving near you this December.
Not one in your area? Contact Jennifer Farley to get one started.
It doesn't have to be a formal event, just a meetup of AIESECers young and old, sharing stories and
meeting new people. No need to fight over the wishbone either; a simple gathering will do!
This is a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones close to home!

AIESECer Wins Senate Race
Our very own AIESECer Nabilah Islam made history in Georgia this month with a state win. Nabilah is the first Muslim woman and the youngest to be elected to the Georgia Senate.
Advocating for quality healthcare access and Medicaid expansion, Nabilah ran for election to the Georgia State Senate to represent District 7. She won the general election defeating Josh Kay and will assume office January 9, 2023.
Nabilah graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing and was extremely active in AIESEC. She served as LCP of AIESEC Georgia State in 2011.
Nabilah brought with her a tenacious and charismatic energy that made AIESEC GSU very successful.
Under her leadership, a Board of Directors was formed and paved the way for the next group of AIESECers.
Congratulations to Nabilah on her big win and best wishes for her success!
