Celebrating 75 Years of AIESEC

An Unforgettable Weekend of

Celebration and Impact

If you missed our 75th Anniversary Celebration Weekend, we have just one thing to say, "You should have been there!" It was an incredible, awe-inspiring event that brought together alumni, students, and supporters from all corners of the globe. The result? An unforgettable celebration of 75 years of AIESEC, marked by friendship, inspirational stories, and a united vision.

A Milestone Celebration

The weekend was nothing short of spectacular. Alumni, students, and friends of AIESEC traveled from near and far to join us in Atlanta for a weekend filled with networking, reminiscing, and exploration of the beautiful city. With over 170 attendees, our event was an outstanding testament to the enduring strength and spirit of AIESEC.

Tradition and Unity

One of the most heartwarming aspects of our celebration was the merging of traditions between alumni and students. By combining our celebration with the student's Fall Conference, we were able to bridge the generational gap, sharing common values and traditions that make AIESEC so special. Alumni provided valuable training during student sessions, reinforcing the idea that a strong alumni network can empower our student organization to reach new heights.

Securing Our Legacy

Perhaps the most thrilling achievement of the weekend was our ability to raise over $300,000 in pledges for the Lilli Hein Endowment. This endowment will ensure the longevity of our alumni organization for the next 75 years and beyond. It's a testament to the unwavering commitment and generosity of our community to support AIESEC Life programs, AIESEC US, and our shared vision of global peace and the fulfillment of humankind's potential.

A Heartfelt Thanks

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our 75th sponsors and donors. Your generosity made this event possible, and your contributions will leave a lasting legacy. The energy, enthusiasm, and collective spirit of everyone who attended were truly amazing.

As we reflect on this incredible weekend, we can't help but feel proud and grateful for the bonds that tie us together as part of the AIESEC family. The 75th Anniversary Celebration Weekend was more than just a gathering; it was a reaffirmation of our commitment to building a better world and creating opportunities for young leaders. We're excited about the future and look forward to the next 75 years of AIESEC's remarkable journey!

AIESEC US Hosts Successful FallCo!

By Abby Lemma, MCP AIESEC United States

We had 45 delegates attend this year's FallCo, with 10 LCs representing from across the country. Chester Shum, President of AIESEC International, was the conference Chair, and students were able to learn how to succeed in their functions and how to connect AIESEC's mission to the rest of their LC. On Friday night students held a Regional Village, where they mingled with alumni and shared stories about their LCs, cultures, and universities. Students also attended the cocktail reception and 75th Gala on Saturday, where they connected even deeper with AIESEC US' missions.

JoAnn Boland International Scholarship Winner Announced

We are thrilled to announce that the current LCP of AIESEC Miami, Karla Antunez, has been awarded the JoAnn Boland International Scholarship.

The JoAnn Boland Fund was established to enable LC members to attend international conferences and to further develop future AIESEC leaders. Congratulations to Karla on this achievement! We are hopeful she is able to attend an international conference in the near future. Karla is majoring in Marketing at and has been in AIESEC for 2 years. She has been on the marketing team, VP of Marketing and now LCP.

Having previously attended national conferences within the USA, Karla always returned with fresh perspectives that benefitted her LC. These insights have contributed to goal setting, organizational reconstruction, and enhanced motivation among team members.

"Attending an international conference promises an even broader perspective, encompassing diverse global approaches and strategies," said Karla.

Karla hopes to attend an upcoming conference and will use her newfound knowledge and perspective to influence the growth and engagement of her LC. "I hope to contribute to the broader AIESEC community in Miami, fostering a more globally aware and impactful youth leadership organization, " she said.

JoAnn Boland was an international leader, and throughout her AIESEC career, she focused on the development of AIESEC’s global leaders. The JoAnn Boland International Scholarship Fund was launched in 2000 with contributions dedicated to sponsoring LC members' attendance at international conferences. Since its inception, over 45 scholarships have been awarded.
