International Day of Peace

The International Day of Peace celebrates the power of global solidarity for building a peaceful and sustainable world. With new forces of division emerging, spreading hatred and intolerance, advocating for peace has become increasingly crucial at a time of unprecedented challenges.
“The barriers to peace are complex and steep - no one country can solve them alone. Doing so requires new forms of solidarity and joint action, starting as early as possible." -UNESCO
As AIESECers, we stand united in our commitment to the principles of peace, equality, and unity. We hold in high regard all individuals, regardless of their nationality or background, and acknowledge the inherent worth and dignity of every human being.
As AIESEC alumni, we embrace our role as global citizens, continuing the mission of AIESEC, which seeks to promote peace and the fulfillment of humankind's potential. Our dedication takes the form of active connection, collaboration, and contribution to the cause of peace. We do so by facilitating cultural exchanges and providing support to students, creating connections for our alumni, and creating opportunities for students and alumni alike to gain exposure to diverse cultures and perspectives.
Our collective efforts are geared towards nurturing mutual understanding and laying the groundwork for lasting peace. Every moment volunteered, every dollar donated, and every mentorship session conducted contributes to this goal, each and every day.
While we do not make announcements in response to every world event, we do strive for peace through our work and your support. On this International Day of Peace, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to fostering harmony and peace on a global scale, standing together as a beacon of hope for a better and more united world.
